How to play Bubble Shooter

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Bubble Shooter. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Look at what changes after your first action. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

A useful comparison

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Keep the objective visible.

Your goal

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Start with a deliberate move.

Step by step

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Controls

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Check any mode label before starting.

A useful example

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Keep the game’s format in mind.

Watch out for this

Contact with a different colour is not a match. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
